2 Corinthians 4:16-18
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us am eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
I could have woke up this morning and been in a bad mood that I am not on the road today, I could complain about the smaller concert I had this weekend and how finances are always tight. But…I wont, because the person I work for could look at me and think much worse thoughts about what He sees in me. God is my boss, and I love working for him and serving Him in everything I do.
I will never have a ministry that will make much money. I will never fill arenas and stadiums and sell millions of CD’s and you know what….that’s ok, because I set my eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. Because everything that we see right now all around us, is temporary, but what we do for the Kingdom is eternal.
We have had a lot of good concerts lately, some big, some small, but God has shown up to everyone and lives have changed. That’s what it’s about.
It is not easy. I sometimes wish finances weren’t so tight, but God always provides.
We have started to add Christmas music to most of our concerts now, just one or two songs for now, but as soon as Thanksgiving is over, everything to the end of the year will be Christmas. Those concerts are a lot of fun, so be sure to check out our schedule and see if we are close to you and come out and celebrate Christ’s birth with us in some great big band Christmas tunes.

Thanks for checking in,

Chiz
